01 Systems

Build a Linux baseline, ship a static site, proxy an app, add a database, and debug it under pressure.

Labs 01-05 02 Automation

Turn manual setup into scripts and Ansible, then manage secrets and multi-VM configuration.

Labs 06-09 03 Delivery

Move from containers to CI, self-hosted runners, registries, progressive delivery, and rollback.

Labs 10-16 04 Operations

Instrument the stack with metrics, logs, traces, SLOs, backups, and failure recovery drills.

Labs 17-22 05 Platform

Finish with Terraform, GitOps, Kubernetes, a delivery platform capstone, and AI-assisted ops.

First five labs

Start where the system starts.

Lab 01 creates the base. Labs 02-05 make it useful: web, proxy, database, and troubleshooting. After that, the course moves into automation.

    Provision and inspect your first real VM.
  2. 02 Static Site With Nginx
    Serve a real page from a local Linux guest.
  3. 03 Reverse Proxy To Backend App
    Put a backend behind a clean Nginx edge.
  4. 04 Database-Backed App
    Add Postgres and validate the app path.
  5. 05 Linux Troubleshooting Drill
    Practice debugging when the machine pushes back.

One lab today. A real platform path after that.
